I have a theory, which I expressed at the Waiting-for-Allan gathering last night, about why everyone seems to dream about Mike (or rather why the dreams that people feel comfortable *admtting* to are about Mike). And it's not just that he's "the safe one", either. See, my theory is that it's his job. Mike is Früvous's Subconscious PR Man, who actually intentionally astral-projects his otherworldly self into the dreams of his fans, where he really does host a talk show, seek out loyal admirers at their places of school and business, and beat up neighbors just to see how much they can take and still adore him. The purpose of this is of course to provide fodder for conversations such as this one, and to keep up our metaphysical and philosophical interest regarding all things Früvous (with the added bonus of providing entertainment for the guys when they read what we're dreaming about them). Hey, it's as good a theory as any. k@ I was gonna say something else here, but good judgment prevailed. ------------------------------ Date: 7 Nov 1998 18:49:21 GMT From: jsmooth69@aol.com (JSmooth69) Subject: last night. . . I just woke up, went to last nights show at the tralf. It was great. Since i suck at reviews, I'll just mention some of the songs they played. Message, BJ, Mistra Know it All, King of Spain, GE&H (short version), Fly, Horseshoes,Kick in the Ass, Get in the Car, Nuits de Reve, Laika, The Drinking Song, Pshcho Killer. I can't remember the rest. Oh well, another absolutely worthless post from me. Someone will give a real review instead of this crap. :-) Jason "It's not my fault!" -Han Solo (and Lando Calrissian) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 07 Nov 1998 19:27:43 GMT From: Sheepy311@aol.com Subject: 21+ at the Tralf I called and yes the Tralf is strict but you can still get in. The girl was harsh over the phone to me but basically the message came through that if you are with a parent or legal guardian, or a sibling with proof your parents are ok with it (like a note she said and then proof you have the same last name) the you can get in. Other wise its a no go which really does suck for us less fortunate to have been born the time we were! Anyways, good luck to the youngsters of the crowd! This may sound stupid, but coming from an area where there's no open water from December-March, could the ferry work on Lake Ontario year-round? I'd like to check one out before I shell out $80. Um, if I would for some reason want to purchase one that is. Did I say I was gonna buy a jersey? Who told you that? Are they nuts? Why would I want one of those? Wait, don't answer that. What I'm saying is let's try to keep this on the "DL" since Christmas is comin up and all, knowhatimean?
