If you haven't seen it, seize the opportunity if it presents itself. It's the single funniest piece of theatre I have EVER seen. And that's saying a lot. (Quit laughing so much Jian... :) We can start that fight, if you want to. - -- chad@ radix.net ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Oct 1998 18:31:48 -0600 From: "Bridget" Subject: it's a fruworld after all..... so, a few friends and i saw bnl last night here in denver. and somehow, somewhere, out of that night comes a moxy fruvous story that i just must share. now, keep in mind that in colorado there are something like TWELVE people who have actually heard of moxy....... so anyway, it's after the show (which was GREAT, incidentally.....) and little sis beck +ACY- i are waiting ever so patiently to get out of the parking lot. we both have our windows open and are listening to beck's live noise tape. so, after 'johnny saucep'n' i decide i really need to hear 'KoS' again, so i proceed to rewind the tape. in the meantime, beck's looking out her window at this guy ATTEMPTING to dance on the roof of his car....... we can't figure out what the heck this guy's doing, but hey we always welcome that cheap entertainment....... then becky tells me to listen to this guy. i try, but he's on her side, and i can tell he's saying SOMETHING, but i have no idea what. beck says, LISTEN+ACEAIQAh- I CAN'T HEAR HIM+ACEAIQAhACEAIQAh- she goes, he's singing 'johnny saucep'n'+ACEAIQAhACEAIQ- then we hear him shift into the opening scat of 'KoS'. we finally reach that song on her tape, and blast the stereo (well, blast is a relative term, since beck's stereo SUCKS+ACEAIQ-) then when it gets to the part where mike yells 'the KING OF SPAIN', beck and i yell out the window toward this guy at the top of our lungs. needless to say, we caught his attention and he comes over to the car and starts dancing to moxy in the parking lot. so we're jamming in the car and now have 4 or 5 people totally dancing outside our car. what a sight that must've made. so i guess this story has pretty much NO POINT, except that we both thought it was HILARIOUS+ACEAIQAh- btw, we are both pretty sure that this dancin' guy is the same guy who sat next to us at the moxy show in carbondale a couple weeks ago........ so hey if you're reading this, we didn't catch your name, but maybe see you soon?? anyway, enough of my moxy ramblings. just thought i'd share a story that made my night, but i guess you had to be there............. over 'n' out xoxoxo bridget (o: ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V1 #831 ********************************************
