I tried the e-mail address listed at http://www.fruvous.com/nomega.html , but it bounced. :-P Also, is there a place on-line that sells Poetreason at a reasonable price? I found two stores that had it "backorderable" (according to GEMM), but nothing in-stock and nothing, well, at a price I'm willing to pay for a live version of a song I'm not all that crazy about anyway. :-) Many thanks, - -Adam ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Aug 1998 20:09:32 -0700 From: Nate DeRose Subject: Re: WOWZA! Unfortunately it is, in fact, true what they say...... Guiness in the states just can't compare.... I'm going to have to go back next year if only to get a real Irish pint..... :) nate ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Aug 1998 20:06:47 -0700 From: Nate DeRose Subject: Re: WOWZA! I've been to Dublin and Cork (Cahrk as I've > heard they say), but haven't hit the West Coast (we almost went to > the Ring of Kerry but didn't have time). Depends on what you like.... I'm not that into the whole big city thing... so I only spent a day each in Dublin and Cork.... mostly went to smaller towns .... Dingle, Doolin, Clifden... all of them were alot of fun... and there are GREAT bike riding paths around all of them... you can rent a bike for about £5 to £7 (about $7 to $10) and ride for the whole day.... Beautiful!!!! Aside from the west coast, the one really fun place we went was Kilkenny.... (No SouthPark jokes, please.... hehehhhe) It was a very fun city... lots of great pubs with really good music just about every night.... got some neat recordings! I've been told by folks who know that if you only go to one area in Ireland, you should go and bike around Connemara...(Clifden is in that area).. unfortunately I was only in Clifden overnight, and had to leave early the next day, so I couldn't go for a long bike ride... but what I saw was quite beautiful! In any case... enough of my rattling on..... :) I'm just still pretty giddy.... heheheh Cheers, nate ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Aug 1998 20:18:46 -0700 From: Nate DeRose Subject: Re: WOWZA! Ohhh.... :( That does suck....well, it's the being stuck in offices that buys you the passage to the land of Ire.... just think of it that way. (I know that I'M going to be working my butt off to make it back there next year.... although next year I'll hopefully be there for the whole summer to work...) > I'm so glad you liked the West coast, Nate. My family is originally from > Galway, and it really is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Yeah! I loved the west coast best of all.... though I only got to spend an afternoon in Galway itself.... Hiking the entire length of the Cliffs of Moher was one of the most amazing things I've ever done...... we were the only three people out there...(Once we got away from the visitors area) and the path is about 3 feet away from the edge.... no guard rail or anything, just a sheer drop of, what, 700 feet? It was amazing to think about that being formed.... not to mention the fact that it was incredibly beautiful..... a sunny day.... some clouds.... I sat there at the southernmost tip of the Cliffs and just memorized everything I was seeing..... I still have this perfect picture of it imbedded in my mind... the gulls flying, the waves crashing against the rocks way down below...... Awww.w.... I miss it already! > (eternally jealous, with mouth watering for a pint of Guinness as we > speak... which is pathetic for 8:45 am) Naw.. that's not pathetic... I feel the same way! heheheheh Nate (who feels silly to be replying to EVERY poster who responded to his original message) :P ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V1 #368 ********************************************
