Matt, I'm assuming not, since the Quill stated something about only shows that
were paid for (can't find it handy for the exact wording).  Although I hear
that some stamps were given for a free show a while ago.  Can anyone
corroborate, or is it a viscous rumor?

Good point... the Bottom Line is, in fact, where I'd been.  I haven't yet tried
to get into any other venues there.  (...hey, I live nearly 3,000 miles away;
what do I know?  <grin>)  In any case, it does prove the worth of checking with
individual clubs, since policies do vary.

I just heard on IRC that the tickets for this show are no longer available
online. Is the show sold out or are they not selling the tickets online anymore
and just at the door? 

Some are worried that they will not be able to get tix to this show.  :-o

When I bought my tix for Owen Sound, the lady asked me what was my reason for
travelling all that way.  I said "Moxy Fruvous" and she said "oh, great!  And
you know the Arrogant Worms are also playing?!"  I told her I'd heard of them,
and was looking forward to the off-chance they might do a workshop together...
*fingers crossed...*  There's definitely cross-over fanage - check 'em out if
you can find 'em.

Here's what I remember of my one Fruvous dream....

My one friend and I somehow got our hands on tickets to the premier of the "new
and improved" David Letterman show.  The "new and improved"  aspects were 1)
the show was now  being filmed at The Bottom Line in NYC, and 2) Fruvous had
replaced Paul Schaffer and his band.  Fruvous sang a song about going swimming
, and then suddenly the whole audience was transported to this HUGE swimming
pool in the middle of Manhattan, where we spent the rest of the day swimming
with Dave and the Frulads!  :-)

Subject: Directions to Columbia, MD, folk fest Friday...

Here they are, from our own pre-Columbian, Doug Levy:

<<From the DC area... I-95 or the Baltimore-Washington Parkway north to
Maryland Route 32 West (sign will say either Columbia or Clarksville).
Follow Route 32 to U.S. 29 North, go about two miles - follow signs for
"Town Center." The exit will be Broken Land Parkway. Follow Broken Land   to
what I think is the second light you'll come to, it's a major   intersection
with a big office building on the far right corner. Turn   right there
(that's Little Patuxent Parkway) and pass two traffic   signals. There are
parking lots on the right side next to the lake front,   which is where the
festival stage is. (Look for Clyde's Restaurant if you   get lost.)>>

If you're coming from Baltimore or points north, it's still I-95, just south of
Baltimore.
