I drove out straight, but friends who drove out leisurely said that they had an impossible time finding hotel rooms within 150 miles of San Antonio! Anyway, the Lunar and Planetary Science conference wasn't entirely Dolby-free. We went out to a dance bar one night, and they played "Blinded" followed by "Weird Science," and all the scientists were out there dancing with their poster programs. Quite the sight. I'm a scientist, but I'm not THAT geeky :) I was playing pool at the time and just amused everyone with my facial interpretations as I sang along :) Oh, and also, Science Diet played the Holiday Inn bar to a fabulous reception. Now if I can only get us to do a TMDR cover.... *B* Barbara Cohen Cosmochemical Cocktail Mixer, PhD to be ****************************************** Time flies when you don't know what you're doing. ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V3 #78 **************************
