Oh, I know that feeling...I love that movie, too. The soundtrack is great, too. Incidentally, have you seen any other movies with her (Angelina Jolie) in them? I can only think of about three: "Playing God" (with David Duchovny, yum!), "Gia" (made for HBO, I think), and "Foxfire" (girl power flick). I've seen all three, and she's much better in them than she was in "Hackers". On another note (I don't know why I thought of this), but one of the girls from "Scream" (Rose McGowen, she doesn't survive the entire movie) is dating Marilyn Manson. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 17 Feb 1998 16:33:40 -0500 From: "Stephen M. Sorry it took so long, but you know how it is; sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you just can't get into Tasmania. And when you do it always costs . . . Can the various Alloy members who live in California please do me a huge favor, and check in on this list before I worry myself grey? (well...even more grey) THANK YOU Robin ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 17 Feb 1998 21:50:45 -0800 (PST) From: Elaine Linstruth Subject: Re: Alloy: California PANIC Checking in from the desert northeast of L.A.... we're at 2600' altitude, and it's flat as a pancake. No hills sliding here, just the tumbleweeds look greener than usual. Palmdale sits directly on top of the San Andreas fault, so we joke that we might have oceanfront property some day. "California slippin in the oceannnnn"... I'm leaving early Wednesday, headed for the Sierra Nevadas. I expect it to be quite a sight, with all their tons and tons of snow this season. I heard that they have had upwards of 13 feet in the last month. I'll let you know when I get back. - -- Elaine Linstruth Palmdale, CA (USA) On Wed, 18 Feb 1998 RThurF@aol.com wrote: > Can the various Alloy members who live in California please do me a huge > favor, and check in on this list before I worry myself grey? > (well...even more grey) > > THANK YOU > > Robin ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 18 Feb 1998 00:59:20 EST From: RThurF@aol.com Subject: Alloy: Thomas, my hero once again Dave and I are actually getting CABLE soon...! we'd been meaning to get it, but my wanting to see Thomas' appearance on the VH1 celebrity game show (and not have to bug friends to tape it for me) was the deciding factor. I'm REALLY looking forward to it. Thanks Thomas! techno-crazy Robin ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V3 #46 **************************
