For your information, a local used records store here, in Aix-en-Provence (France), sells a copy of "AAMB" at 20 US $. An extended version of "May The Cube Be With You" is on it ! It's a french release. If anyone is interested, please let me know : we'll arrange a shipping. It's all $$$. I don't think record companies are interested or think it's worth the time to print...say 10,000 copies, of an old CD. Somewhere, I read that record companies will reprint CDs if they're confident that at least 100,000 copies can be sold. I'm sure the record companies have their master copies stored somewhere in case if the artist becomes big again in the future. >Expensive because it's an import... Was there ever a US version of it? >I didn't think there was, but I don't know... kind of ironic that the >one he spent so much time over here for can only be gotten from the U.K. See above. Also, AAMB had 2 Top 100 singles in the UK (Airhead, Hot Sauce) and charted on the UK Top 100 album charts too. Here in the US, after Hyperactive!, TMDR didn't even dent the charts. For me, AAMB has been relatively easy to find, but it's expensive. Try looking in the independent record stores (ie not in a shopping mall). Also, used record stores are good places to find it cheap too. (I got my AAMB for $8 used in great shape) Be presistant and happy hunting! - -Phil ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 5 Jan 1998 05:53:46 -0800 (PST) From: "Charles E. Once again, quite pricey, but add another place to your list for possibly finding it. ****** Charles E.
