Whereas this is getting me even more confused, because here in the US, before the series, good 'ol Max wasn't a VJ, but a talk show host on pay cable. (Showtime, if memory serves) Boy, do I wish I could get my hands on some of those episodes. I have a bunch of the series episodes kicking around from when they were being shown on the Sci-Fi Channel. I think they'll be showing it again in their Series Collection slot, but I'm not positive. You are thinking of "The Max Talking Headroom Show" on Cinemax, which came out around the same time (perhaps prior to) the American TV series. There were about six episodes, I think...and I do have them on tape somewhere. I'll let you know if I find them. Most distressing... they've had it at my local Borders for the past year, I often shot longing glances at it, but never had the $32 handy to actually buy it. If you don't get ahold of it through CDNOW, drop me a line and I'll see if they still have a few copies at Borders. -- E(lipse ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V3 #1 *************************
