Yes, I love that one! I love to just sit there and study the path of the figures, trying to figure out where they start and end. I suppose that, since it doesn't bother me that I have no epileptic or such related traits though I get motion sickness very easily. But that sequence doesn't bother me there either. The most common hidden potentials are visual. When doing an EEG to detect epilepsy they'll use a strobe light at various frequencies to find out which one causes the siesure. Of course any stimulus could be a hidden potential. Certain sounds, smells, even touches have been known to cause people to have siesures, and an epileptic could have more than one potential too. Audio hidden potentials are pretty common but they can't really be tested for. It's easy enough to expose a person to nearly every frequency of flashing light, but exposing them to every possible sound is significantly more difficult. I have epilepsy myself, but my EEG indicated that it's highly unlikely my hidden potential is visual. There are two main types of siesures, Grand Mal (the ones with convulsions) and Petite Mal (the ones where you just black out). Fortunately for me I rarely have the grand mals but there have been times when I suffer petite mals on a daily basis. But I haven't had a petite mal (at least to the best of my knowledge) for about two years (long enough for me to get my drivers lisence back). There's medication that will control most siesures but I declined taking it as the side effects, to me, were worse than the siesures themselves (constantly tired and your immune system is shot). And that is the wonderful world of epilepsy. HI all, Just realised that my last message was one of those that got booted out during that earlier server problem. So to reiterate, FAVOURITE COLOUR/ANIMAL I've thought about it and I honestly have no fave animal. Really. I don't think I ever have... My favourite colour is blue in all it's various shades but I do agree with slarv on the wonderful colours of autumn leaves. BTW - Slarv, I've enjoyed listening to the Brand X tape just once since my 9 year old son has commandeered it. It's funny, this is the sort of music I drove my dad mad with and yet here am I walking past Dan's bedroom thinking that sounds cool! CRACKERS Can you handle a 1mb file through your email? This IBM program I was going to send by post will only load from the original 5 1/4 floppies. But I have loaded it, zipped it and then loaded the zipped file on another Pc and it seems to work fine. So I can send the file and just pop a copy of the manual in the post. Let me know. MAX HEADROOM To all UK Alloyers check out over Christmas on Channel 4. As part of the "4 at 15" celebrations they're showing the first Max Headroom episode again. Not sure what date as my Radio Times is at home - also watch out for "Five go mad in Dorset".
