I could have and probably should have taken him to court. Worse yet, It took 5 months to find another job. The only reason I can figure it took so long is I don't have the certifications in my field, and those with 'certs' usually get picked first, whether they're good or not. The bizarre sickness has officials considering new programming guidelines and mothers concerned that Japan's wildly popular cartoons could be harmful.... I've since seen a report where neurologist-types said that this isn't uncommon among people suffering from light-sensitive epilepsy. So, maybe these kids are either undiagnosed mild epileptics, or just overly sensitive, or it was extremely jarring? It would be easy to laugh it off to mass hysteria, but it happened instantly when the thing was broadcast.. droves of parents taking their kids to emergency rooms, complaining of nausea and all kinds of other stuff. Come to think of it, there is a VERY unnerving sequence in the Quantum Mechanic video, composed of rapid flashes. I don't know if this sequence falls intot he correct range for seizure inducement, but I love it, although it makes me uneasy. Supposedly rapid color shifts are also a component of seizure inducement, but nonetheless, the Quantum Mechanic flash sequence sure is heavy, especially in a dark room. .............................................................................
