Darn! > There goes most my closet! Isn't it terrible that people just hate others like that? I go to a vocational school where there is no real gang trouble, but blue shirts and Nikes were (seriously, I'm not kidding) almost not allowed because of the fear of gangs. ::hops on soapbox:: As for first hand (sort of) experience, my cousin Tia (she's one of my best friends, so I see her almost too often)'s stepbrother, Michael, actually has a local (sect, pack, gaggle?) group of Crypts after his family (not Tia's...his mother's side, the ones he lives with) because he bought a pager from one of them (he's 16) and then complained that it didn't work. His family has been threatened, and he was beaten to the point that he almost lost most of the top row of teeth. The only reason he still has them was that they were attached to his braces (which were well beaten in, and the ones that were knocked loose were behind the others) and he didn't swollow them, so they were able to pretty much reattach them. I'm sorry if that was graphic, or unpleasant, but I think it's horrible that people like that are able to just run around (pardon my language) beating the shit out of other people with little or no fear of the law coming down on them. ::hops off soapbox:: Sorry about that, but that's one of the few things that will really get me going like that. - --Suzanne-- ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Nov 1997 17:22:33 -0500 (EST) From: MsSakamoto@aol.com Subject: Re: Alloy: OOh, kind words.......
