Not many people contributed songs or even greetings for the project this year, so the 90 minute tape wasn't as well used as I had hoped. Infact, not even one side of the tape was fully used. Of course some people joined Alloy late and didn't know about the project (and the FES Tap Room was no longer up to help co-ordinate efforts there) so I suspect there will be more contributors this year than last. I'll start taking the Dibbs earlier too, and hopefully this year people won't leave things to the last moment. In anycase, I've been trying to think of ways we can fill up more of a 90 minute tape. Some of you may remember me mentioning before an idea to make another Alloy/FES project that was a tape of original songs by FES/Alloy members. But we could combine both projects together and make a tape where contributors submit two songs, one Dolby cover for the A-Side and one original song for the B-side. This should fill up the tape quite nicely. Any ideas on this? CRACKERS (By the way...
