It is still coming in and becomes clearerwith each reading. I am now going to visit www.netscape.com. And electrix has pointed out that that Home Page will be different. And now I am getting a firmer grip on Home and its very own Home Page. For instance, sooner or later Home is (they are doing so now) giving subscribers the Netscape Communicator 4.0 as fashioned by Cox. Right now I have Netscape Navigator 3.01 as distributed by Cox. Most of this email is just to thank electrix for his interest in me as a person. Alloy is lucky to have him around. I now use the handle that he suggests. Hello Crackers! After a bought of bronchitis all last week, and a god-awful business trip to Singapore the week before, we only cut the final vocals for project B-day today. My bud Sasse, who's engineering the track will finish it off mixing it tommorow in the daytime, then it's straight to the fastest DHL/Courier we can find,..trouble is, will we still make it?? We've put in 110% for this, and its just so bloody typical that I only just got my voice back, and the cough gone, or this'd have been away to Canada the beginning of last week. Could you at least pass on to Ian that it's on it's way tommorow? There's always the possibility of us sending it in MPG2 format, but can Ian use that, d'ya think? Any ideas? I don't mind paying for the best courier there is, as long as we get it there!!! Hang on for us! HELP!!!!! Apart from the final rush, doing this has been a scream! My bud Sasse & I usually only do house music together,...this was a great opportunity to get him (and me, I guess) doing something different than usual,..and I also got to indoctrinate him and our guitarist with some great dolby music (or should I say indolbyate?),...and guess what,..another couple of dolby fans were born! more to join the ranks! okay,...time for me to catch my breath, and go suck on a couple of strepsils. yours very-crossed-fingered-hoping-we'll-make-it-ly Lissu (phew,....) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 30 Sep 1997 15:47:08 -0700 From: electrix Subject: Alloy: Clarification:None... WOW! Thomas Dolby After re-reading my last e-mail to Alloy, I saw so discrepancies I needed to clarify before anyone started spinning out of confusion. Again, excuse any redundancy and my assumptions... I believe Frank is using a cable connection at home for his Internet access. His ISP provider is obviously Cox@Home, a division of @Home. Am I right to think you have a cable modem, Frank? > >http://www.headspace.com/beatnik/?plug-in. > >On this page, there is the "Thomas DolbY's Beatnik Walkthrough." The Settings menu in Netscape allows users to set it to whatever Home Page site they desire, actually. However the Home Page you are in, Frank, is designed exclusively for Cox@Home and, apparently, no one else can access it unless the user is also a subscriber of Cox@Home. Judging from the link you provided us. > Most of this email is just to thank electrix for his interest in me as a > person. > Alloy is lucky to have him around.
