Feel free to take a look unless your name is Thomas Dolby (you already know
what you're getting for your birthday. Don't be a naughty boy and spoil
your suprise any more).

The reason I'm putting it up online (if unlinked) is because my computer
has been acting crazy lately. Currently one hard drive is dead, the 
CD-ROM is dead, the video card is damaged, the IDE controller is damaged
and the mother board is damaged. All this caused by a faulty powersupply.
So by putting the J-Card on my webspace it will be kept safe should something
happen to my computer. Plus if something happens and I am unable to print up
the J-Card, everyone will be able to download it and print one for themselves.
(Although someone would have to print one for Mr. Dolby).

I hope you find it amusing.

*Outstanding* effort Crackers! Beautiful work. Had me cackling away for 
ages - especially when I noticed the birthday cake. Just perfect!

I should offer a belated apology for not stepping forward to do a track: 
I have a keyboard and guitar but can't play either to save myself. :)

Also, I don't have a mike for my tape deck here but I do for my computer 
so would you accept a sound file emailed to you/Ian for the birthday 
greeting? If so, name your preferred format and I'll send it along. Oh, 
and even though I'm not contributing, if I asked really nicely and sent a 
blank tape to Ian, d'you think I could get a copy made of AAMBC? I can 
resort to bribery if that helps. :)

P.S. Sorry to hear about your computer; must be the time of year for it - 
mine had it's power supply and hard disk go up in smoke last week too. 5

Sound files won't do. Submissions must be sent in on 90 minute Chrome
Cassette Tape. And they must be sent in A.S.A.P. (before the 15th at the
LATEST unless you are going to send it via courier (like The Copse is
doing from England)).

If you are going to contribute a song then PLEASE let me know NOW. The J-Cards
will be printed Tuesday at the latest and any changes MUST BE MADE BEFORE
THEN!!!!!!

If you only record to your computer then record to your computer and have
someone transfer the .WAV file to tape for you. Submissions are only accepted
on a 90 minute Chrome Cassette tape!

If ANYONE wants to recieve a copy of the album but cannot record a song,
then simply send in a recorded "Birthday Greeting" on a 90 minute
Chrome Cassette Tape. The "Birthday Greetings" will be overdubbed on a
recording of "She Blinded Me With Science"

If you want a copy of the tape then you must contribute in some way.
Either a song, or a "Birthday Greeting" (and please keep the Happy
Birthday speeches under 2 minutes). And the tape must be sent to
Ian with return postage (cheque, money order, or canadian stamps.
do not send cash through the mail. $4 should cover postage to the states
(Canada Post is a crown corporation and is not subsidised with tax dollars
so Canadian postage is considerably more expensive than american postage)

To respect the copyrights of Thomas Dolby's work copies of this special
birthday album are not being sold and are not being distributed to anyone
other than people who contribute a song or a "birthday greeting".

And if you're going to do either then do it NOW!!! It's already september
and it will take Ian some time to compile all these submissions into a
single package and this package must leave Ian's place no later than
October 1st if it is to arrive in time for Thomas's Birthday.

Thomas's album will be sent out first and the contributors copies will be
sent out over the following couple of weeks.

There's no more time for dicking around.

(and yes, I'm dressed in leather and slathered in vasceline as I say this)

So if you're changing your song or have just decided now you're going
to contribute (and ARE serious about it, not just thinking about it,
but will actually record and send in a song in the next week) then

Tuesday!
