If so, I downloaded the very same image off the Flat Earth Society photo gallery (and Dave ran it off for me, and now a laser of it is above my workbench at work. . .) Whoever owns the rights must have given permission to FES; if you can track it through the FES page copyright folks it might get us somewhere. Has this avenue been explored? Did the t-shirt people contact the record company people? It isn't clear from the posts what exactly is happening. It sounds like everyone's getting discouraged over this legal thing. Mary Coller was kind enough to provide us with information about all this (not many of the rest of us being familiar with entertainment law) & I don't think we should get discouraged. If the photograph is altered, is it still illegal to produce a shirt featuring the image? How did Andy Warhol get away with all those Marilyn Monroe silkscreens etc?? I hadn't noticed the "1999" date on Thomas' posting before, but Frank is right - it's very disturbing. I myself am in 1997, with Frank and a number of others. Yet another clue that Thomas might be a time traveller. Hmmm. . .
