Well, I was born and raised in Louisiana, so I'd like to defend my home state for a moment. I didn't see the 60 minutes story but I must say that not *everybody* gets pulled over by our fine law officers... Just those with out-of-state license plates! :) Actually ever since I first heard that song I have always been curious if TMDR was pulled over in my home Parish (not County) of Tensas. For many years we had a Sheriff with a harelip as the song states, so it makes me wonder if it was Fred Scott, our Parish (not County) sheriff. I guess only one person can truly confirm that. If he was pulled over, it would have been on HWY 65 because there are no interstates running through that area. I think A&H is one of my favorite Dolby albums because it combines the music of Thomas Dolby with the music of my home state. What a combination. Indeed! I certainly wouldn't breathe a unkind word about the region's music...or its food!
