I won't say I'm a fanatic, but I will admit to much more than a passing interest in Mr. Dolby's work. I think the "Flat Earth" is his most accomplished work to date, IMHO. It was far ahead of its time when it was released, and the title song remains one of my favorite cuts of all time. The Mind's Eye soundtrack is also brilliant, as well as "The Golden Age of Wireless". TGAoW was again, way ahead of its time IMHO. The only album I have not been able to latch onto completely is "Astronauts...". But then again I haven't given it nearly the number of listens that I have everything else. I've noticed an interesting thing on this list that is quite refreshing, and that is noone slagging anyone else because their posts aren't "Dolby-centric". I find fan digests a brilliant way to branch out and explore new things and people, as well as to merrily basking amongst fellow enthusiasts of a particular group or artist. Which brings me to my question: what's everybody listening to out there in Dolbyland? Cheers! That seems to be the consensus of this list. Thomas seems to generate fewer fanatics than he does people who take an educated liking to his work. Most of the people here fall into the latter category. >...what's everybody listening to out there in Dolbyland?
