Your right though his Brazilian backing is out of this world on an album like the story of 'I' - - did by the cd re-release of this but took it back as the sound quality at one point was awful shame really as my vinyl's wearing thin. >He was a guest on someone's 'This is >your life' show a few weeks ago (was it Toyah Wilcox????). ^^^^^^^^^^^^ Give or take 5 or 6 miles she's a neighbour of ours (as is Sting). Her husband Robert Fripp is playing a number of gigs during the Salisbury Festival in May. A couple of months ago I became interested in studying Latin on my own, with my husband as an advisor. I've been using the text by Gavin Betts primarily but I find I'm getting stuck on basics. I am considering going back to the bookstore and getting the most basic texts I can find, written for absolute beginners, heavy on vocabulary words & amusing illustrations. My problem is, both Oxford and Cambridge have published this kind of book, and I don't know which I should start with! Do the teaching methods differ dramatically from school to school? Does anyone know what some potential differences might be? Paul said the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. . .
