I did a search for the episode and Bingo!: it is the one with John Goodman as guest (episode #4, first Aired U.S. -- 3/29/96 on ABC; U.K. - -- 9/27/96 on BBC1)---the following is an excerpt (written by T. Erik Brown) taken from http://www.ncsa.uiuc.edu/VR/BS/Muppets/MT!/summaries.ht ml "Phil van Neuter is going to read some fan mail, which Mulch brings out. Mulch ony has two letters, though. Phil: "Two letters, that's it?" Mulch: Mumble-growl-mumble. Phil: "What do you mean the rest were for you? You can't even read!" One of the letters asks Dr. Phil to tell how he met his wife, who also happens to be Mulch's sister, Composta Heap. The letter also asks him to "please tell us in a song, preferably one by Thomas Dolby". So Dr. Phil starts a flashback to when he was in college, where he sings "She Blinded Me with Science" while wooing Composta (who looks like Mulch in a wig). Hi All.... Another vote for Bjork, Gabriel, but what about,... Jeff Buckley,.. (does with his voice what dolby does with his synth,...experiments and flys off around your head with it,...t'would be an interesting mixture of styles,...) Josh Wink (Just think what kind of rhythms he could put together with TMDR) and I especially agree with Oldfield as a choice,....two keyboard wizards together couldn't go far wrong! I also think it'd make for some pretty cool music if he wrote with a Finnish favourite (tres big over here) called J. Karjalainen,..but I don't suppose anybody has heard of him in here and maybe in my dreams I could wish to do some music with him. One can but live in hope.(sigh) Damn paul, this was a goodie! take care all, Lissu :-) ---------- >From: alloy >To: alloy >Subject: Re: Alloy: Stir fry. >Date: 19. (Little Richard sings a different version of the song on the end credits, they're both quite good.) Just goes to show that we can find connections anywhere.
