You HAVE got friends here, even if they're all virtual ones. I've only just had time to read your report, I've been very busy since New Year and I've been swamped with mail (thanks Algie) so I've had to leave the longer items until I have a few minutes peace and freedom from interruption. So, thanks for your efforts. Unfortunately I never saw Thomas play live and probably never will now, unless he can be persuaded .... well, you can't blame a chap for trying. There are a couple of other things that I recall about that show (btw I saw it in San Francisco). The biggest is that two of the sidemen came out in drag, I thought it was great they really played it up. I wonder if this was done only for the SF show? Also I remember my disappointment when the bass player didn't actually play the riff for Hyperactive. Even so it still rates as one of the best shows I've ever seen, and I've seen a few. On a rather off topic note, I would like to recommend the band Soul Coughing to all of you who have not yet had the pleasure to hear them.
