Between my server crashing on weekends, going out of town on emergency and enjoying everyone's responses, I haven't disciplined myself to answer my own question. I'm Monya De, currently living in Evansville, Indiana, headed to Stanford University in CA and, later, medical school. I've sort of been working my way backward in the Dolby timeline (getting a new TMDR disc is a little like a high, isn't it!). The Beginning was a matter of hearing ILYGB on the radio, right place, right time. But many months later, I can (sometimes) hold my own with the rest of the regulars :) BTW, hi Suzanne, you feel deprived?? ...I can sympathize but I try to make the best of it...those who were into Dolby at his prime are lucky people (just because it would have been great to experience the whole history) Past music experience: Piano, flute, short stint w/ aux percussion. Famous neighbors: Assorted professional sports people and Mary Brown to the south. Landmarks...the house shown in the opening credits of "Roseanne" is about 7 min away from where I live. As far as the song lists...GREAT ideas everyone, of course John went into amazing detail. I especially liked the idea of bringing back the guest artists. How about dragging Lea Thompson away from her show (isn't it something like the 4th most watched on NBC?) for a duet on Don't Turn Away? My only real grievance is that I didn't see ILYGB on the list-- got a feeling TMDR would do his best to get it into the lineup. communication from the midwest complete... Do you think his 1998 album, "Fermat's Penultimate Theorem," or the 2002 release, "Sandcastling in Cydonia," is where he peaked?
