It has 5 tracks from TMDR and 5 from Talk Talk. Thomas' tracks are 'Science', 'Europa', 'Airhead', 'Dissidents' and 'Hot Sauce'. Talk Talk's tracks are 'It's my Life', 'Talk Talk', 'Such a Shame', 'Life's What You Make It' and 'Today'. Overall, it's a pretty good CD. It's inexpensive, too. I think I got my copy for $7 or $8 new. It's also got an interesting picture of Thomas on the cover. The shot was taken at an angle, so it's got an unusual perspective. It's a 3/4 profile, fairly darkly lit, and has a shaded purple background. He's got reasonably short, well groomed hair in this one, and appears to be wearing a black shirt with an open neck and white, or possibly grey, suspenders. He's looking sidewise out of the shot at the viewer with a serious, almost tight-lipped, expression on his face. On the right (from the viewer's perspective) side, a hand is holding a crystal cube in which a reflection of his eye has been captured. There's a pic of Talk Talk as well, but aside from the similar lighting and background, it seems to be a fairly ordinary group shot. In a way that's what I expected. I think the people who bought these items are fans and still want them (which is a good thing). Here's my request: Is there someone in AlloyLand who has the extended and mixed versions, and some of the rarities who would be willing to record them for me? I would be happy to provide the tape and an envelope with returned postage already on it. I would be ever so happy and grateful if someone out there is willing and able to do this for me : ) Rochelle Powered by "Sometime" by Erasure ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 7 Nov 1998 19:30:54 -0500 From: Rochelle Kirby <104040.2055@compuserve.com> Subject: Alloy: Computer help needed There seem to be several computer wizards here. Perhaps one of you will understand what I am about to write and offer suggestions. My office is trying to do away with our typewriters and move our forms online. Any suggestions on how we can do this? We have several documents (with words, lines, boxes, and logos) that we would like to get onto our computer. We know scanning may be an option. If it is, what do we need to do to manipulate the forms (use them as templates)? Keep in mind that I work for Ford Credit, which is huge and does not like individual branches to add software to our computers (we are considering purchasing a stand-alone computer for this). HELP! I am in charge of this and feel like I am spinning my wheels. Forgive me for a lack of computer terminology or the misuse of any terms.
