The agreement allows CTI to use Beatnik's copyright protected technology to add branded music and sound to sites such as "Party Of Five," "Dawson's Creek," "Mad About You," "Ricki Lake" and "The Nanny," and have created a Beatnik Jukebox with all of the TV show themes. With Beatnik's interactive sound capabilities, signature sites will now include familiar theme songs, sound effects and character voices. Interactive audio also increases site retention and click-through on Web sites that had previously been silent. "CTI's adoption of Beatnik's RMF technology is a testament to the future of Internet sound," said Headspace CEO and founder Thomas Dolby Robertson. "Beatnik provides a solution to the number one issue facing music online -- copyright protection." Unlike streaming audio, Beatnik technology provides interactive, CD-quality music, with almost zero download time; and the intellectual property rights of the songwriters and artists are assured by Beatnik's proprietary encryption technology. Dave and I always get complimented by strangers every time one of us wears it. Even when we went into this bondage clothing shop in Cambridge several weeks ago to look around (great stuff, wish I had a million bucks!) the guy at the counter was really enthusiastic about it & asked loads of questions. I still think you should do a second run of these shirts, Miles... there are some new people here now who'd probably like a shot at owning one. Now that some of my friends have admired mine I'd like to give some as gifts as well. Please think about it! :) Robin T ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Aug 1998 23:27:44 EDT From: CJMark@aol.com Subject: Re: Alloy: more t-shirt compliments Miles..
