I am writing to explain and apologize to any of us who may find my publicly posted personal messages to Europa boring, offensive, or otherwise undesirable. You see, after I wrote that last one I had misgivings. There may be some of us who would rather not know my feelings and other personal intimacies. But my thinking is thus: I consider Mary and I as somewhat a creature of Alloy and I further consider the Alloyed as our close and personal friends. So when I post one of these smoochie gooey messages to the list it is an invitation for you to celebrate with us the triumphs and successes of our improbable union, and to share in our happiness. However, if one or more of you wish to speak up about it, I will modify my behavior accordingly. Alloy: Oh God!, look, they're at it again! Hey you two, get a room or something. Thug2: Yeah. /\/\&/\/\: Huh? Oh! Sorry . . . As I am wont to say . . . ********************************************************************* To humiliate oneself is human. Seems lead singer Mike Score has taken to baseball caps similiar to TMDR as he wore one throughout the show with a VERY long ponytail. Their first album is an often overlooked '80s gem that unfortunately left them labeled as one hit wonders in the same vein as Mr. Dolby. Quite an '80s summer here in Hampton Roads-we've already hosted The Fixx, Loverboy, Modern English, Night Ranger, Bow Wow Wow, and The Smithereens with Culture Club, Howard Jones, The Human League, and Pretty Poison still to come. Alas, would trade them all for one performance from Dolby.... M.L. ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V3 #182 ***************************
