I'm sorry if this goes out twice, but the first time I tried to send it i think I somehow sent it to myself by accident. Robin T, queen of e-mail mayhem!!!!!! << I just wanted to tell everyone here (since we've been discussing books!) about the new one I bought today, & can't wait to start reading... It's called The Perfect Storm, by journalist Sebastian Junger. It's a true story of a fishing vessel & her six-man crew which were caught at sea, at the center of three converging storms in October 1991. I heard the author discussing the book on NPR the other day; he read exerpts from the book & I was drawn in right away. The book promises to be excellent & very compassionate. Since I know I'm not the only one here by far who has a passion for the sea, nor am I the only one here fascinated by the power of a big storm (Paul :), I thought perhaps other people at Alloy might enjoy this book too. Now I'm reading three books at once! This always happens to me... I go from having nothing to read to having more than I bargained for, but I love them all & now I can't put any of them down...
