I thought I'd have a quick chat with BigAl to see where we're at: 57 on 
alloy + 16 on alloy digest = 73. There was a time when <smirk> we hit the 
magic 100, but usually, yes, it hangs around the 80 mark.

Heh! Yeah I always get a real kick out of seeing people post who've never 
done so before. Looking through the list of subscribers and going from 
memory I know that at least 43 have added their 2 bob's worth every now 
and again. That's over a 50% participation rate which is pretty high 
compared to most lists out there. (Okay okay, I'll take the evangelist 
hat off now, I'm just chuffed okay!?)

Friday last I received the final payment for the t-shirt project, closing 
this chapter of Alloy.  Using today's date that brings the project length to 
thirteen months, and the total cost of the endeavor was about $760.00 US 
Dollars.  That figure does not include my time, or the time of any of the 
Alloyed who so generously contributed ideas, data, and effort.

Once again I would like to acknowledge and honor those who participated.

It rings true.  After all, what is anticipated as a hot date can sometimes
turn out to be a damp squib, if you'll excuse my mixed metaphor.  Love
letters can be disappointing as well as uplifting.

someone else that would be aware of Fripp..  I used to listen to King Crimson
a lot when I was young and had spare time to wonder where the heck he came up
