Robin T vs Robyn M? what do you think? Or would that only add to the problem! And thanks for the birthday wishes anyway John.. I'll apply them retroactively to May 23rd :) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 8 Jun 98 04:45:00 GMT From: p.louie1@genie.com Subject: Alloy: A&H videos >There are video clips from "I Love You, Goodbye" and "Close But No >Cigar" over on the Flat Earth Society site. But I wonder if anyone saw the "Astronauts and Heretics" videos on MTV Europe or some other UK video show. Three singles from the album ("Close But No Cigar", "I Love You Goodbye" and "Silk Pyjamas") _DID_ reach the UK Top 100 pop chart. Since everyone now makes videos to promote their singles, I would think that the airing of the videos helped the singles climb up the chart. Can any one of our European Alloy members comment on this? Oh and if anyone is interested, "Close But No Cigar" peaked at #22 (his biggest hit since "Hyperactive!" peaked at #17) and "I Love You Goodbye" peaked at #36 on the UK Top 100 pop chart. (I don't remember the peak position for "Silk Pyjamas" though) - - Phil ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V3 #150 ***************************
