LD on sale Dear Dolbyphiles, I've received a special offer from Image Entertainment regarding Laserdiscs on sale. Contained therein: The Gate to the Mind's Eye --- $10.00 (US) This is the NTSC version CAV LaserDisc, factory sealed. The offer is only good if using their supplied order form, and the sale ends June 30th. It's a helluva deal if you're looking . . . Let me know if I can be of assistance. I assume quantities are limited, and that they are selling off old stock. This may possibly be due to the recent re-release of "The Gate" in the new DTS sound format as I detailed a few Alloy-moments ago. After going to the Headspace page and trying to install the Beatnik plug-in it seems that the MIE browser I'm using will not accept the audio plug-in. Beatnik runs with Netscape Navigator but I'm not certain whether I should download this just to access the plug-in feature. Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated! IE cannot interact with Beatnik to create a sonic environment when you move around the the page and the site. Several of the demos, the Mood Ring for instance, works (1.1 at least). An activeX control is being developed. I've got a beta running in my IE (I can't direct anyone to pick it up because it was hidden on the homepage for a time and it installed itself). cch. _______C u r t i s C. I use it with IE3.1 at work, and it works with my IE4.1 at home. I also use it with Netscape 4.1 at home. Make sure you selected the correct browser when you install it. It only lets you select one browser when you install, but you can re-run the install if you have more than one browser. If that doesn't work, go to the troubleshooting page on the headspace site. You don't have to download Netscape. - -- Keith Stansell Denver, CO __________________________________________________ http://www.concentric.net/~kasman Denise D Luckey wrote: > > I need help with a problem that someone out there might have knowledge > of. > After going to the Headspace page and trying to install the Beatnik > plug-in > it seems that the MIE browser I'm using will not accept the audio > plug-in. > Beatnik runs with Netscape Navigator but I'm not certain whether I > should > download this just to access the plug-in feature.
