(quiet, you) I'd say you definitely represent a direct threat to my sweet wine/Tang combination ;) And what's this about shattered remnants, when every gorgeous girl in Australia who meets you lately seems to fall madly in love with you? I'll have to teach you how to defend yourself if this keeps up... or at least, some good holding techniques! I just saw the My Generation with Thomas as one of the contestants, at 2:30pm, Boston time. Out of my overwhelming sense of deep respect for Thomas, his brilliant mind, formidable talents, and good nature, I must apologise for starting off with this next comment...but GOOD GOD, the man is so INCREDIBLY GORGEOUS!!!!! Mmmm hmmmm!! I really dug those FINE threads of his, too (nice commentary, eh? drool drool drool...) GORGEOUS!! Good thing it was only a half-hour show, with commercials, or I'd be even more of a salivating bag-breather right now than I already am. As it is, I had to put my eyes back into their sockets after the show was over so that I could write e-mail properly. Thomas is so sweet, not to mention impressively quick with a game-show buzzer. The game was very close - the lovely Wilson Philips ladies were fast with their answers, and even answered Michael S.'s question before Michael did, when the answer was himself. It took much brilliance on Thomas' part to finally defeat them! Thanks to Thomas for doing this show, it was FANTASTIC getting to see him on TV!! He's made my whole week :) !! Paul / Robin, So, I know you guys aren't supposed to know (or share) anything about this, but what's up with GrooveTub? "Late April" has come and gone with nary a peep from The Beatnik. ???, /\/\, ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 9 May 1998 14:13:25 -0700 (PDT) From: Monya De Subject: Re: Alloy: Just saw Thomas on VH1!!! It's pretty obvious that both he and Sembello aren't major fans of U2 and Melissa Etheridge! Couldn't believe how the Wilson ladies jumped out to such a huge lead-I seriously underestimated their musical knowledge. As for Michael Sembello, he needs to quit taking his song lyrics to heart as he looks like a MANIAC! Good job by Thomas though, as he almost singlehandedly answered every question for their team. Too bad he didn't mention a new album sometime in the near future.... M.Luckey ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V3 #125 ***************************
