However, some of her stuff is touching, as I found "Adrian" to be pretty effective save Jewel's quivering screeches. Also, I've got to agree with you on Joan Osborne. Bought the CD, sold the CD. I very much wanted to like her as the "God" single was pretty solid, but I found the rest of the album to be soooooo flat. As far as Fiona's concerned, I have yet to buy one of her albums though she's been touted as the next ... whatever. I must say that her "Criminal" video absolutely smoulders with sexuality, and there's something about her that makes my hormones go crazy. Go figure. - -Dabbitt ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 21 Apr 1998 07:54:56 EDT From: RThurF Subject: Re: Alloy: message from TMDR Wow. There is so much I would like say about the film, but sadly I have to rush off to work in ten minutes & I'm not even dressed... one thing which kept occuring to me throughout was that Thomas can really move on stage (sorry I'm so lecherous, I'm trying to be good, honest :) I hope he still has ample opportunity to dance while he's working. Another thing... I loved Thomas' version of Jungle Line. That song is brilliant in and of itself, for its rhythms as well as its use of chord changes (in place of mere notes) throughout, giving a serpentine feel & lush imagery. Very very very nice indeed. Thomas' vocals only strengthened its appeal for me. must rush off for now! An open note to Thomas... you've inspired me yet again, this time to take up filmmaking!
