Welcome, Andy! You don't have to keep introductions all that short, you'll
find the people here are very friendly & curious about each other! Was the '83
concert your first exposure to Thomas' music, or had you been a fan before
then ? I'd love to hear  when/where/how you first heard him, and what has led
you to be here with us today! :) 

I don't know if you were signed on yet for the announcement of Thomas'
appearance at the SXSW Interactive conference on Sunday, March 15th, from
3:30pm to 6:00pm in Austin, TX. I'm in Boston & I'm sure I can't make it...but
it looks like you might be in a position to travel there (though I know
there's still quite a distance between Dallas & Austin)

No... really, Paul. This is why I must refrain from musically contributing to
the tape portion of the Alloy Birthday projects.  So many of the other Alloy
members who are experienced musicians are far better qualified to contribute
to the tape than I am. I'm thinking only of Thomas' precious well-being and
sanity in my reluctance, which may be something of a birthday present in
itself. He will receive my artwork in blessed silence!
