My current ambition, apart from passing my Grade 2 coaching award, is to perform a half twisting back somersault. Trouble is my lower body says 'yeh, go for it' while my upper body says 'Uh, oh. No way!' BTW - does Thomas know Nils Lofgren who I've seen doing something similar using a trampette. He back somersaults out of the wings while still playing guitar. Not quite Dolby related but I was wondering along the same thing when I caught the end of some program about weddings at the weekend. They had a selection of clips that was meant to make everyone go 'aaaahhh' in the gooey, soppy way and the accompanying music was Hot Chocolate's 'It started with a kiss'. They kept repeating the line 'It started with a kiss, Who'd have though it would come to this' over and over again. Trouble is when you here the lyrics to the whole song it's about a lost love which culmnates in that emotional line 'You don't remember me, do you?' It just goes to show the mentality of the 'sound bite' culture. Hello Alloyers!!! Hey guess what! I have a radio show now on a station here in LOndon. You guys can check it out if you like on Real Audio 5.0 the site is-- http://www.chrw.fm.net my show is called "For The Folk" and unfortunately TMDR does not fit the format so I won't be able to play his stuff but I will play it if he wants to send me some "un-plugged" versions of his music. Is that kind of stuff available? The show will air on alternating sundays from midnight (est) to 2am (est) The sundays that I am not on will be hosted by my friend John Gardi and his show is called "Just Folk" It will be alot of fun And I certainly hope that you guys will tune in once in a while and maybe e-mail a request to me. I will have to put them on for the following show. The first show will most likely be March 2nd. I hope y'all dig it. Cheers Ian P.s. how are the dibs coming along Crackers?
