Some good photos came out of that session, including the one later made into a poster. I see I'm not the only one who scanned in that Musician article! :) Good collection of Keyboard magazine photos, too. I need to change my Project B-Day dibbs from Radio Silence to Big Bang Backwards. There are several reasons for this, of which I'll give the top two publicly - - lack of time (just now finished work on Shadow Warrior and Balls of Steel), and lack of voice (thought I could either cover myself or find someone - foolish me). In short, I need something that I can do at home over the next 2 weeks, during the first vacation I've had in 2 years. Please forgive. // Lee Jackson // ljackson@intex.net // Garland, TX ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Aug 1997 08:28:52 -0400 (EDT) From: PROCAT1@aol.com Subject: Re: Alloy: T-shirt Status hello all, a lurker agrees both in the below thanks and most improtantly in the anticipation of a great shirt!!! to reinterate, just letme know when and whee to send the $$'s thx for helping me to be cool and dolbysized at the same time!!! mark In a message dated 97-08-30 07:04:40 EDT, you write: << My great appreciation goes out to everyone who's been working on our Alloy t-shirt!!!!!! The book.jpg's came from a music book called Thomas Dolby. It has the sheet music to Blinded, Europa, Airwaves, and One of Our Submarines. If was from Cherry Lane Music Co, inc http://www.cherrylane.com/ , I doubt that it is still in print. It has no ISBN number. > I see I'm not the only one who scanned in that Musician article! :) > Good collection of Keyboard magazine photos, too. The Musician article was wonderfull, and I love the interview. The interview is Thomas interviewing himself, so I imagine for him it must have been the perfect interview. I also have more pictures from articles that I plan to scan. Some with Thomas with George Clinton and Lene Lovich, and some with his wife. Also some pictures of him after a concert (note: got caught trying to get the camera into the concert). The cleaned up pictures should be slowly appearing on my web site over the next month. I may also try to get permission to reprint the articles on my web site, especially the articles from magazines that are out of print (like the Keyboard magazine article from '83). - -Russell Milliner ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V2 #175 ***************************
