Hi y'all, Apologies for the delay, all the contributed artwork is now ready for your perusal at: http://www.thehub.com/~paulb/artwork.html The main page may take a little while to load so hang in there. Many thanks to Lem, Brian, Barbara, and Stephen for taking the time to put their ideas into pixels. If you've sent me artwork and it's not on the page, please do yell at me. :-) stay well, Paul. ________________________________________________________________________ Paul Baily paulb@thehub.com.au Consulting SE/IT contractor http://www.thehub.com.au/~paulb Brisbane, Australia There is a spirit here that won't be broken. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Jun 1997 15:39:01 +0100 From: Lem Bingley Subject: Re: Alloy: The Art of Alloy. I like the new submissions from Barbara, but feel compelled to point out that the line from "N.E.O." is "Look at it this way," not "*Think of* it this way." I'm also somewhat inclined to note that according to the lyric sheet "anytime" is one word, not two, as that Clayton fellow has spelled it. It's perfect. I will draw no more. Lem. Tilson" <71160.307@CompuServe.COM> Subject: Alloy: T-Shirt Artwork&Deadline Greetings Alloy, Kudos to Paul for all the efforts, once again! And thanks to Barbara for dipping her virtual toes in. Nice work, Barb. Now, about the rest of you... Anyone else wish to come forward at this point and, at least, declare their intentions to post any artwork suggestions for the shirt? Please do. We would all like to see as much participation as we can garner toward this project. Also, those of you who have not voted, or wish to change your vote, please do so at your earliest convenience. I feel a sense of urgency here, but only in that I don't wish to see people losing interest due to a protracted design phase. So, let's get the votes and any additional artwork submitted soon, and we can move on to phase three: final design. What I envision here is taking the vote tally, balance that with the existing artwork suggestions, and hand it all over to the artist to let her come up with a proposal. She will produce her own artwork based on the above which (Paul's time permitting) will be again posted on the artwork.html page for our approval. With luck and a little hard work (Luck: the harder I work, the more I have of it) this submission will be acceptable to the majority and we will proceed into ordering and production. Again, thanks to EVERYONE for your interest and participation. /\/\iles ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Jun 1997 00:02:35 GMT From: ljackson@intex.net (Lee Jackson) Subject: Re: Alloy: T-Shirt Artwork&Deadline On 10 Jun 97 14:55:08 EDT, you wrote: >Also, those of you who have not voted, or wish to change your vote,=20 >please do so at your earliest convenience. Recommendation - update the vote page to include the shirts on display. 'Twould be easily done. ;-) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Jun 1997 18:39:39 -0700 (PDT) From: Steven McDonald Subject: Re: Alloy: T-Shirt Artwork&Deadline I've been out of it for a while due to it being the end of my school year but here are my comments: I like all of the designs, but I have to say Lem's are my favorite.
