Hi All, One last addition,...Please forgive the nature of this mail,....;-) Please guys,....can we have something in big (but classy) letters right across the front of the T-Shirt. NOT on the top left pocket site. 2 Reasons for this: 1) If we're going to go to this trouble to get these T-SHirts, I'm sure we want EVERYBODY to be able to see what's written there without them having to peer closely at my left boob,.. and 2) I don't know if I speak for all of us laydees in Alloy, but I for one hate T's that have something sat like a shooter's target on the centre of my boob. It's even worse when jogging.. I really don't mean to bring up provocative images of us Femalloyers, but this is a little like the conversation about the loo seat being up that we had ages ago in the Tap room.....please keep us laydees in mind! Did this come to late? Oh,...I'm really REALLY sorry for this,...but I just HAD to say it. (Red-faced Lissu retreats into the shadows at the back of the server,...) Mayta 1997 04:36 Precedence: bulk Dear Team, I have pondered the Alloy t-shirtless issue too, and have concluded that if we are SERIOUS about it, I would be happy to produce same for our enjoyment, and to confound the un-initiated . I have a friend in the custom t-shirt biz, so it would be but little effort for me to accomplish this task. It only remains to be seen if we can AGREE on a design, and COMMIT to buying them, as there is a minimum and I do not wish to be left holding the bag (of unclaimed shirts). The cost would be modest; I estimate they could be produced in a variety of styles and sizes from tanks to scoop-neck to crew-neck short sleeve 100% cotton for less than $15.00 US plus shipping. We could make a few sweatshirts too . . . So, perhaps we should explore the design issue more closely, tabulating votes and the ideas they represent. Quite a few are in already. Of course, I've had a few ideas come to me as well, so if you please ... A L L O Y We Make A Crucial Team For A Dying World -or- A L L O Y Switch Off The Mind And Let The Heart Decide Coupled with, hopefully, a graphic image taken (with permission, Thomas) from the Dolbynalia we are so fond of, placed above this lettering on the left upper breast. And of course, FRUIT JUICE EVERYWHERE! On the back. Show us your interest, and I will research the wherewithal. I do believe you've shed some illumination of these somewhat sketchy lyrics. I mean, it's a stretch, but an apt one. You are too clever by half. Thank you for refreshing me, and all your kind words. - ---------------------- And Melissa, You're on the list, hon. Tell me more about these shirts, ok? If we can achieve synonymous colors (so the ink colors work) it should be no problem at all, and no extra cost. In fact, yours would be the least expensive of the bunch, as you would only incur a printing and shipping expense from my end. - ---------------------- Dear Europa, Roger that! You're already there, girl. And thanks for voting for my favorite motto! Way to go. - ---------------------- Mistress Monya, What? Backing out on the fruitjuice idea? Weak stomach? That's a darned good idea, and I hope you'll send me one! I've been incredibly busy with Headspace stuff the last few months. It's going insanely well, though it doens't leave me enough time (a) with my family (b) to write music (c) to update FES and lurk around the Alloy list! but hopefully this will change in the near future.
