For the useless-bits-of-trivia file: I was amused to find that the Absolutely Fabulous theme song was, too... I looked it up on my Siouxsie & the Banshees album, because I thought that's who had done it.. but it's a Dylan. The version that made it big in the UK originally (in the late 60's or early 70's, I can't remember which) was by Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger and The Trinity. The version for Absolutely Fabulous was sung by Julie Driscoll and Ade Edmonson, who is of course, Jennifer Saunders' husband. I've loved Ade since I first laid eyes on Vivian Basterd on the Young Ones all those years ago. There was another series they were all in on that aired in the US during the '80s where each show told some different strange story. Does anyone remember what it was called ?
