Hi, It was good to hear from our Fearless Leader this holiday season, and I hope it's been a good one for him and his, as well as everyone else out there in Dolbyville. To answer Mary's off-camera question, yes, I AM working tonight. :/ but in a moment, I'll be free to descend to the streets and revel in the hail of bullets that will ensue at the stroke of 12. Went to the big Tower Records here in SF today. Noted that they have all of TD's albums in stock except for "Gate." Yes, including AAMB for a mere $20.99 (import, of course.) Also noted that the video of Howard the Duck is also there, for a low price of $7.99. If anyone needs any of these things, let me know! I recall stopping by that Tower the night of TD's Flat Earth show in May 1984. The sign out front had an advert for the show downtown. That was a very fun night, indeed. And now, all the centuries later, it's nice to be in the virtual company of like-minded wingnuts who'll understand just HOW fun. :) May The Cube Be With You All.... It feels so good to be in this community of Dolby friends... not everyone is that... and it really means a lot to me to read all the postings on this list... and to be reminded almost daily that someone out there is ENTIRELY getting into Thomas. Where I am... I feel almost alone in my love for his music and creative advancement sometimes. Yes, I get the "isn't that the 'Science' guy?" reply (eek). I do have some close friends who are with me on the Dolby thing... but they don't play his albums till dawn talking about every breathy/otherwise sound/effect/production he used in every song on "Jordan: The Comeback" etc.... ENDLESSLY like me (hee). Anyhow... just wanted to say that I know I don't show up here often verbally (I'm very shy)... but I really appreciate Paul and everyone out there for gracing my mailbox this year... I've loved it all. And I would like to wish everyone a HYPERACTIVE 1997. Was thinking of mailing the list and asking if anyone still heard from the Bugman. :-) Happy New Year to all of you out there. I enjoy this list as much as you all seem to.. it's a vicious cycle. :) - -- Elaine Linstruth Palmdale, CA (USA) On Wed, 1 Jan 1997 BugRoom@aol.com wrote: > (I'm very shy)... but I really appreciate Paul and everyone out > there for gracing my mailbox this year...
