This is compounded by the fact that no-one from Thomas' organization is managing the Tap Room -- the chat database is so huge that each hit to the chat room takes an absolute age just to pull back all the data -- and most of the threads are 'dead.' I got a few messages from you folks over the weekend, thaks for bringing it to our attention. We'll do what we can to bring everything back to normal -including throwing some hardware at the problem :) cheers Andrew On Sat, 5 Oct 1996, Bill Hargreaves wrote: > My friends, > > I have disturbing news to report. I usually go by an exchange rate of 1UKP = 1.50US$. I'll add these to the list. The prices are usually between 4UKP for a single cd and 6UKP for a double cd set (plus postage) Reagrds, Neil Leacy IT Support (Leacy@Britax.co.uk) ==================================================================== For further information on child car seats designed and produced by Britax-Excelsior visit our web pages at http://www.britax.co.uk/britax/ ==================================================================== ------------------------------ From: Neil Leacy Date: Mon, 07 Oct 1996 16:29:39 Subject: Re: Alloy: RMN FAQ WWW >>Please feel free to have a look at my handiwork. >> >> http://www.britax.co.uk/britax/rmn-faq > > Great photo there Neil! >Really catches the professor-esque side of the gentleman don't you think? The picture on the box is the cube with Dolby's picture on it from the Hyperactive! video. I bought for only a dollar! Now since I already have The Golden Age of Video, I don't really need this one, but I picked it up in case anyone out there wanted it. I'll sell it for only three bucks ($1 for cost, $2 for shipping). I think thats fair enough. It has been used, with the edges banged up a bit, but is in good shape. If you have The Golden Age of Video already, you don't need this one, unless you want it strictly as a collectors item. If anyone wants it let me know! I somehow managed to miss the Golden Age of Video, and am now to be pitied above all people. Plus, I'm in Atlanta, so it may not be too hard to get stuff to me (depending on how far you traveled to that CD show!). To the list -- I have to tell you that the discussion here was a bright spot in a rather unsettling four months away from home at an internship. It wasn't too easy to respond from where I was, so forgive my silence, but it was great to hear from everybody. (The poster story had me making some pretty interesting muffled laughter noises from my cubicle.)
