It keeps showing many threads as ones I've never read before, some of which I started MYSELF. It's also getting V E R Y S L O W ....... Maybe this is because there are so many threads now, and some are huge. One or two of us have tried mailing Netrex and Clif Bridgen about it, but we just get a message back indicating that their addresses can't be found. Something fishy's going on, but who know's what. Perhaps if Clif gets this message via Alloy he can investigate. With regard to my browser, I'm still using Netscape 1.22 (I like antique software) and don't have any problem with it. Well, yesterday I made my DJ debut with B's Geek Hour, eleven songs loosely centered around the science I do--chemistry and space science. I kicked the whole thing off, of course, with my man TD's "She Blinded Me With Science"... and I got to say on the air how big a fan I am. The weird part is that the hour before, on the "80's request hour," they had actually played" One of Our Submarines," which is my personal favorite, but which was requested by someone else! Oh, for those who are interested, the rest of the playlist went like this: Alcohol Howlin' Maggie Vasoline Stone Temple Pilots Paraffin Ruby Glycerine Bush Space Oddity David Bowie Major Tom (Coming Home) Peter Schilling Spaceman Babylon Zoo Stars Hum Love Missile F1-11 Sigue Sigue Sputnik Interplanet Janet Man or Astroman I realize that I'm one of the youngest members of this list, so probably most of the above will be obscure if you don't listen to 90's "alternative" stuff, but they're all pretty cool if you'd like to get your hands on them :) *B* Barbara Cohen Cosmochemical Cocktail Mixer, PhD to be ****************************************** For a real sweet time, call C6 H12 O6. ------------------------------ From: bcohen@LPL.Arizona.EDU (Barbara A Cohen) Date: Sat, 28 Sep 1996 14:38:49 -0700 Subject: Alloy: FES Frames And while I'm writing in: If you're browsing in Frame sites like FES, and you want to go back, click your mouse directly on the window and you should get a little pop-up menu, with a "back in frame" command, which you should use to go back within the frame site instead of the "back" button on your browser which will send you back to the page which got you to the frame site. *phew* Hope this is helpful :) *B* Barbara Cohen Cosmochemical Cocktail Mixer, PhD to be --------------------------------------- Madness takes its toll.
