I'm sorry to report that to date no CD issue of Golden Age Of Wireless has surfaced which includes either track. Chances that the one CDNow is selling has them are nil. I think we'll all be living with this GAoW dilemma for some time to come. :-) - -- ::: Lazlo (lazlo@swcp.com; http://www.swcp.com/lazlo) ------------------------------ From: "Lazlo Nibble" Date: Tue, 9 Jul 1996 00:30:48 -0600 (MDT) Subject: Alloy: Concert Songlist I'd like any "dream" TMDR concert to include "Screen Kiss", "Pulp Culture", and "Silk Pyjamas" in some kind of medley... - -- ::: Lazlo (lazlo@swcp.com; http://www.swcp.com/lazlo) ------------------------------ From: ljackson@intex.net (Lee Jackson) Date: Tue, 09 Jul 1996 08:53:01 GMT Subject: Re: Alloy: I like this biography thing . . . Duke Nukem 3D??? >Duke??? >THE Duke??? >The "Shake 'Em Bay-bee" Duke??? The very same. I did about 40% of the MIDI music for it and all of the digitized music. I also did the sound effects for the cinematics at the end of episodes 2 and 3, all of the sounds for the "Fat Commander" character (the "suck it down" guy - my voice after an Alesis Midiverb IV got through with it), and several others here and there. The reason for the low percentage is that they already had Bobby Prince signed up for it long before I even came to Apogee. I got lucky to be able to squeeze in what I did. >(Only kidding you big sexy slab of man you... ;) Slab might be right. Check out the picture on the back of the CD. None too flattering. :-( >I'll have to check the soundtrack for Duke out again..... Best done on a Roland Sound Canvas or similar high-quality box. FM synthesis reeks, IMHO. ;-) // Lee Jackson (ljackson@intex.net) // Music and Sound Director // Apogee Software, Ltd. & 3D Realms Entertainment ------------------------------ From: Ann Elizabeth Meyer Date: Tue, 9 Jul 1996 20:03:52 -0400 (EDT) Subject: Re: Alloy: FES web site feedback? Hi, all; Well, thanks to the folks at the FES web site for soliciting our input. I stand by my opinion that, on the whole, it is a really well-designed site. However, there is one thing I would like to see added. Though it's probably already on somebody's list, I'll suggest it in this forum. It is: Captions on the pictures in the Gallery! Where and when were these pictures taken? Who are these other people? Are there any special circumstances for any of them? Inquiring minds want to know! :-) That's it for me. Any other suggestions? Cheers, Beth Meyer (I used to have a .sig, but it left me for another account...) ------------------------------ From: kimc@headspace.com Date: Tue, 9 Jul 1996 17:17:50 -0700 Subject: Re: Alloy: FES web site feedback? > However, there is one thing I >would like to see added.
