["GuRu Junkie" Subject: [AMFL] just a curiosity thing... Hey guys! Just thought I'd share a little something with you... I was recently asked if someone offered me a million dollars for my Alanis collection (posters, pics, t-shirts, cds, etc), would I take it. Without a doubt in my mind, I said no in a really srict voice. I even added that you could offer me as much money as you wanted, I'd still NEVER give up my collection...it's priceless and worth way more than money could EVER buy. My friend looked at me really wierdly, but oh well....I can't put a price on Alanis. I was just wondering what you guys would say if asked that same question?! xxx peace, love + am Monika Janicki the "Alaniscoholic" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Do I stress you out My sweater is on backwards and inside out And you say how appropriate - -Alanis Morissette (All I Really Want) ************************************************************ _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. ____________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a message to alanis-request@smoe.org with UNSUBSCRIBE as the body of your message. ____________________________________________________________ http://www.alanismorissettefans.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 29 Dec 2000 14:40:35 EST From: JaggdLittleJunke@aol.com Subject: Re: [AMFL] just a curiosity thing... had u asked this question a year ago, i probably would've said the same thing as u... but now, i think i would sell it. the reason i would take the money is because the reason i started to like alanis and i still do wasn't because i had 20 shirts, 100+ cds, and anything that her name or face graced. it's because of what she has to say, what she's about, what she represents to me, and so forth. and until recently, i just realized that i don't need to spend hundreds of dollars a month on eBay to buy alanis merchandise, because to me, what alanis is all about is priceless, whereas trying to buy that limited SFIJ with the candle, bookmark, and interchangable covers from japan is $20 lol. u can't put a price on alanis, but u can put a price on material items... unless it was something with a special meaning to u, like a ticket stub from ur first concert, or an autograph u got when u met her, or her water bottle, etc; things like that i would keep. *Liz* *Dl_b&\&o' (\/)X.o''#%%#* In a message dated 12/29/00 11:40:55 AM Eastern Standard Time, preciousyouare_alanis@hotmail.com writes: > I was recently asked if someone offered me a million dollars for my Alanis > collection (posters, pics, t-shirts, cds, etc), would I take it.
