Today's Subjects: ----------------- R&R: David Bowie - Live By Request [Mike Connell Subject: R&R: David Bowie - Live By Request Just wondering if anyone lese here caught Bowie Live By Request on A&E last night and what you might have thought about it. I forgot it was on and tuned in 30 minutes into it, so I'm not sure what I missed. Overall I was kind of dissapointed in it, at least the 90 minutes I actually saw. Not sure what I was expecting though....I wasn't a HUGE fan by any means. He was quite popular when I went to college....ChangesOne came out my first semester and it's the only LP and CD of his I ever bought....although every track on it got plenty of airplay on my college radio shows..."Mike in the morning on WCVM!". He of course did some old stuff, some from his new CD (Heathen). I taped the repeat last night and plan to see the whole thing again. Maybe he did more of my faves in the first quarter. (I hope he did Space Oddity. That came out in my very early teens when I was obssessed with the space program, so it instantly became my favorite song). Anyone else catch it?
