It is very interesting to see the many points of views on this list. What I get from all of them is that most enjoyed them but for the most part they were just another band of the time. I bet you all think it's very interesting how young kids today seem to sort of idolize them. And it just keeps going. Although I don't think that we would put them above like zeppelin or anything like that. But I just remember when I was 16 - 19 my friends and I would listen to that stuff a lot. Now my younger brother who is 18 is really into all that also. I know quite a few people who have started a sort of cult following for the doors cover band wild child who plays here in LA quite often. But again thank you all. I can now say that I have learned something on this list. December ps i didn't mean to affend people by using the term 'older' it was just the word that came to mind at the time. well the nicest one lol. :) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 23 Jan 2002 03:33:04 -0600 From: "Lew - New World Warehouse" Subject: R&R: For Beatles Fans who really like referencing Came across this site as my surfboard threw me into the abyss of the web: http://www.tacoshell.com/spinalcracker/cgi-bin/search.pl?index It's a site that references Beatles songs in all kinds of different ways....don't know why, but I guess if you are into that sort of thing, then this is the site for you.
